How NeuroFringe handles account, dating, Community, and sensitive Operating Manual data. Last updated August 1, 2026.
At a glance
NeuroFringe is an adults-only dating and social service available worldwide where lawful. We do not sell personal information or use neurotype, disability, messages, precise location, or disclosure data for targeted advertising. Dating profiles and messages are never public web pages.
Information you provide
We process account and security details, date of birth, photos and Artifacts, approximate location when enabled, relationship intent, likes, matches, blocks, reports, messages, purchases, support requests, and public Community contributions. Payment-card details are handled by the relevant payment provider.
Sensitive Operating Manual data
Neurotype, communication protocol, sensory needs, capacity, masking, and optional disclosures are treated as sensitive. No diagnosis or assessment proof is required. Each axis has an independent private, matches, or profile visibility control. Identification route is private by default and cannot be used as a public verification badge.
Wiring Test
The Wiring Test stores answers and six conversational-axis scores so it can produce and, if requested, email a result. It is a personality artifact—not a screening tool, diagnosis, medical assessment, or care. Answers are not added to a dating profile unless the member separately chooses a result label.
Location and worldwide discovery
Discovery is worldwide by default. Nearby is optional. When enabled, coordinates are used to calculate distance and are not displayed raw to other members. A person can deny device location and use the product without Nearby.
Community and indexing
Public Community posts, comments, channel names, timestamps, votes, and the Community identity chosen by the author may be visible on the open web and indexed. Dating profiles, assessment answers, Operating Manual contents, Board posts, session attendance, likes, matches, messages, blocks, reports, and precise location are not public.
How we use data
We use data to provide authentication, calibration, discovery, fit-and-friction context, matching, messaging, Community, events, billing, support, security, moderation, fraud prevention, service measurement, and legal compliance. We do not make clinical judgments.
Providers
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to vendors supporting hosting, storage, email, authentication, push, analytics, payments, purchases, maps, error monitoring, and app stores. Providers may include Sentanyl, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Firebase when enabled.
Retention and security
Active data is kept while needed to provide the service. Account deletion removes or de-identifies active data after a limited safety window, subject to backups, reports, fraud, chargebacks, legal obligations, and others’ rights. We use encrypted transport, password hashing, access controls, separate credentials, logging, backups, and rate limits.
Your choices and rights
Settings let you edit visibility, calibration, notifications, location, blocks, export, and deletion. Depending on location, rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, and appeal. Contact privacy@neurofringe.com.
Adults and contact
The service is for people 18 or older. Report a possible minor or safety concern to safety@neurofringe.com. Privacy requests go to privacy@neurofringe.com; general support goes to support@neurofringe.com.
