Who is NeuroFringe for?
Adults 18+ who are neurodivergent, self-identified, formally diagnosed, questioning, or here on purpose to build an accessible connection. No diagnosis or waitlist is required.
Is the Wiring Test a screening or diagnostic tool?
No. It is a sixteen-question personality artifact about communication and dating context. It is not clinical, diagnostic, medical, or a substitute for care.
What is an Operating Manual?
Your privacy-controlled description of communication, pace, sensory needs, capacity, interests, and masking. Every axis can be private, matches-only, or visible on your dating profile.
Do people see how I identify?
Only what you choose. Neurotype defaults to profile visibility; identification route is private and never appears as a verification badge.
Is discovery local?
Discovery is worldwide by default. Nearby is an explicit opt-in and never exposes raw coordinates. Online-only and long-distance are first-class choices.
Does NeuroFringe use compatibility scores?
No. Cards show specific fit and friction in words. There is no percentage, popularity auction, Spotlight, profile-view list, active-now pressure, or hidden reply clock.
Can anyone read Community?
Public Community channels are readable on the web. Dating profiles, messages, assessment answers, Board posts, and private Operating Manual fields are never public.
Will an unpolished post be rejected?
No. Five-character titles, title-only posts, blunt vents, tangents, repetition, lowercase writing, and 4,000-word infodumps are allowed. Only concrete safety violations are rejected.
What stays free?
Calibration, the Wiring Test, Operating Manual, worldwide discovery, Today’s Three, mutual matching and messaging, Clean Exit, safety controls, Community, Board, Wavelength membership, Parallel Play attendance, and Formats browsing and planning.
How do I report, block, or leave?
Each relevant surface includes reporting and blocking. Blocking hides both people from one another. Clean Exit ends a connection with fixed clear language and no reply path.
